Trekked to Dingboche today to 4,400 metres. Most of us are feeling the altitude now but we are here for a few days. Nice touch today when we called at the house of the regional Lama who blessed our expedition with a Puja ceremony asking the gods to give us success. Helen and I are pacing ourselves to base camp.
